Mommy & Erin at the beach
Erin and i decided to hang out at Onslow beach yesterday. We had a great time playing in the water and sand. The ocean was very calm, just a few breaking waves on the shore. The tide was also in, so there wasn't much room to sit or play, but we made the most of it.

Erin's Birthday Weekend
We took cupcakes to daycare on Friday so Erin could celebrate with her friends. She was so excited until they started singing Happy Birthday - she actually started crying. Poor kiddo. I guess she doesn't like being the center of attention. (Yeah right!)
Erin also decided to show us who her favorite college football team is! Go Michigan!

More photos
I failed to add these photo of Erin & Joelle to the blog last time, so here are a few photos of the cousins.
I had a sizing ultrasound appointment today so we could gauge how big Erin's brother is going to be. According to the measurements, he's approximately 3 lbs. 11 oz. right now. So Iguess that means he's gonna be as big, if not bigger, than his sister. We shall see.
Here is a photo of Erin before her ballet class. She really enjoys dancing; I think it's because of the floor to ceiling mirrors in the classroom! :)

Our Michigan Trip
Here are some photos from our Michigan trip in July. We visited Sault Ste. Marie, Bay Mills, St. Ignace, Grayling, East Tawas, the Detroit Zoo, and, of course, Clarkston. Our gracious tour guides showed us some pretty amazing sites - thanks Mom & Dad. We had a blast and we think Erin really enjoyed herself.

Phenomenal Miss E and the beach
It was absolutely gorgeous on Saturday, so we took advantage of Mother Nature's generosity and finally got our beach photos taken. Erin was having so much fun, she had a hard time standing still - there was just too much to see. I'll give you a preview and send out some photos soon.

New paint & carpet
Here are some photos of the house with the new paint job. The kitchen went from yellow to a dusty rose color - the offical name is "Pressed Flower". At first I thought it might be a bit much, but we adjusted to it quite well and it's a welcome change. We decided to change the look of the living room by painting one of the wall in a different color. I like the contrast and it makes the room look a little bigger (the blue is a bit more grey than the photo shows, it's not quite that light). The only thing left to do now is hang our photos.
I have to admit, I am VERY glad that we did not do this project ourselves. Not only did the painters do a great job, they did it quickly and we were able to get the house put back together over the weekend. It was a long week, but it was worth it.
